The game looks similar to doom and quake which both use 2D sprites on a 3D plane like SRB2. WebFeb 2, 2024 · A console being able to run Linux doesn't mean it can run SRB2. The first problem is RAM: the Saturn has 16Mb (that's mega bits, so around 2 mega bytes) of working RAM. SRB2's RAM usage on Windows: ~82MB on the title screen ~90MB in GFZ1 ~116MB in ERZ2 (Changing the window resolution makes a difference of 10MB at the most.)
