Originally, I could see that when I pressed the buttons the screen would light up faintly (although nothing was showing on the screen). I then pressed and held the home button and the on/off button to reset it. WebJun 19, 2024 · Alternatively, if you don't have access to a computer, I would recommend you Setup As a New Device (ie. do not restore a backup), then once setup, update via Settings > General > Software Update. Once updated, you can erase your device (Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content & Settings) and restore your backup. Hope this helps!
