The average transfer speed is about 2 MB/s. Server: Asus Z9PR-D12 w/ 2 x's Xeon( E5-2620 72gb DDR3 ECC 2 x's Sandisk 60gb - OS hard RAID 1 6 x's 2TB SATA … WebCurrently it sits at 7.09 TiB of 7.21 TiB and it still writes at the same speeds. I can cause it to slow down: Watching a video file and running my rsync (2 transfers at 10Mbit/s) in the background. Using the same file my speed drops to between 40 to 100 MB/s (CPU shows 25%). That's totally normal with a mechanical drive.
